Scott leads Kaufman Rossin's outsourced services practice, leveraging the latest technology to provide sophisticated real-time accounting and business advisory services to clients. He developed Kaufman Rossin Connect's cloud-based technology ecosystem, which offers business owners real-time access to their accounting and financial reporting.

Scott’s background includes experience in accounting, finance, investment banking and partnership taxation as well as financial, operational, and administrative management.

Scott has worked extensively with closely held businesses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, financial modeling, corporate finance, capital planning, cash flow forecasting, systems implementation management, and international business.

Scott previously served as partner-in-charge of the outsourced accounting, finance and technology group for a St. Louis-based CPA firm. Prior to that, Scott was Chief Financial Officer for a heavy-industrial manufacturing company and a start-up medical device manufacturer with overseas production facilities. He also served as Treasurer of a not-for-profit organization advancing Southwest Florida’s innovation economy by connecting entrepreneurs with experienced mentors, who will help them build their high-tech startups into investor-ready ventures and connect them with the right funders at the appropriate time.

Scott is a member of the Botkeeper Product Advisory Committee and participated in both the Botkeeper BOS and Infinite beta testing programs. He was a member of the Intuit Accountant and Advisory Council: 2015-2017 and was on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Gateway Chapter.

Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Louis University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Scott also holds the AICPA Finance Transformation: Transforms Skills, Ignite Change and Manage Disruption Certificates.
