Have "uncomfortable conversations" become too comfortable? Is the passion and push for a racial reckoning fading? Are we at risk of sliding back into complacency? Join us for a conversation with Eric Pierre, CPA, CEO, Owner, and Principal of Pierre Accounting in Austin, TX as we discuss these questions and far more!
As the conversation in race continues, Eric isn’t afraid to be vocal, speak up, push back and challenge the status quo. He believes in speaking boldly and loudly, even if that means pushing someone out of their comfort zone. He isn’t willing to sit back and let uncomfortable conversations become too comfortable. In his own words, “For some of you, you might not know what to say, and that is okay. This is a fight that must be taken on day by day.”
In this session, Eric will tell us more about “the fight” he is referring to, why it is important to elevate to “bold” from just uncomfortable conversations, and why these conversations are especially important within the accounting industry.
